Date
c.1920

The faculty and student body of the Ohav Shalom Congregation Sunday School during the tenure of Rabbi Gilbert Albert Elefant (back row, center). Some of the boys are wearing traditional skullcaps, which bear little resemblance to the smaller skullcaps worn by many religious Jews today. The two students in the back row are holding books with an illustration of Moses bringing the Ten Commandments down from Mt. Sinai.
