Jos. DeRoy and Sons Interior

Israel and Joseph DeRoy started DeRoy Brothers, a pawnbroking business at 49 Smithfield Street, around 1870. The brothers split in 1898, each starting separate jewelry and pawnbroking businesses downtown with their respective sons.
