The Ellwood City section of the National Council of Jewish Women was established in 1928, out of the existing Hebrew Ladies Aid Society. This whimsical history by Recording Secretary Hessie Reinhart describes the transition of the organization and its initial meetings, which included a performance by Sybil Young.
