“Beth Shalom Children in Musical Production”

The Beth Shalom Sisterhood hired Eugene “Gene” Kelly to produce its annual springtime Kirmess in 1932. The Kelly family had previously been associated with Lou Bolton, a dance instructor who had produced many shows in the Jewish community. Kelly continued producing the Kirmess for Beth Shalom until 1938.
