An article from the “Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle” announces the gift of a 250 year old Sefer Torah to the Tifereth Israel Congregation. The article then shares the story of the Torah’s survival in Poland as told by Joseph Mirow. The Torah was donated by Mirow’s cousin.
