In his interview, Congregation B’nai Abraham President Eric Levin discloses his recent health battles. Levin recalls growing up in the B’nai Abraham synagogue in Butler, Pa. attending weekly services with his father. He fondly remembers Rabbi Eliezer Ben-Yehuda and his involvement with BBYO. He doesn’t recall personally facing antisemitism or feeling different than Christian classmates. He discusses his family’s dynamics, the family business, and choosing the practice of law over ministry. Levin expresses his love for the synagogue, services, and the spirituality of it all.
