Rabbi Jacob Friedman (c.1933-2012) led Kneseth Israel Congregation in Kittanning from 1958 until 1960 and Tree of Life Congregation in Uniontown from 1960 until 1965. A native of New Jersey, he left Western Pennsylvania to join Temple Beth Torah in Ocean Township, where he stayed for 35 years.
