Jacob Scholnick immigrated to the United States from his native Russia with his wife Elizabeth Augensicht Scholnick about 1901 and started a clothing store on North Canal Street in Natrona, Pa. He moved to nearby Tarentum, Pa. by 1920 and to Detroit by 1930. This photographs shows either the Natrona or Tarentum store.
