First National Bank of Charleroi

According to a Works Progress Administration Church Archives survey, Rodef Shalom Congregation in Charleroi, Pa. began renting space for worship and classes in the third floor of the First National Bank of Charleroi as early as 1914. The congregation built a synagogue on Washington Avenue in 1926.
