The Rabbi Jacob Joseph Rabbinical College, also known as Yeshiva Rabbi Jacob Joseph, was a youth Talmud study program based out of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun in the upper Hill District. Rabbi Jacob Joseph Hurvitz of Torath Chaim Congregation in East End opened the school within the synagogue in March 1930. Newspaper accounts from the time suggest he may have previously offered similar classes at other facilities.
The school offered weekly Talmud classes for Jewish youth. Students were assigned independent study Sunday and reconvened the following Sunday for group discussion. The school closed sometime before Rabbi Hurvitz left Pittsburgh in August 1930.
