Louis Weinberg (1879-1953) was born in England and immigrated to Pittsburgh with his family in 1902. He was the son of Tobias Weinberg and Sarah Morris Weinberg. He married Clara Goldston on January 8, 1903. They had four children, Arnold, Emily, Mildred and Lillian.
Louis Weinberg was co-owner of Weinberg Brothers’ Place furniture store at 1508 Fifth Avenue in the uptown section of Pittsburgh.
Emily Weinberg became engaged to E. Milton Cohen in 1932, and the two married the following year. E. Milton Cohen was president of the National Retail Furniture Association in the early 1960s.
