"Harry Takes an Order," by Rita Catherine Greco
from "Behold a Great Image" (1978)

The Kosher Korner was a kosher restaurant at 2103 Murray Ave. in Squirrel Hill. It was likely the first kosher pizza and first kosher falafel restaurant in Pittsburgh.

Chaim Reichenberg started the Kosher Korner in mid-1976. Reichenberg was born in Israel and had come to Pittsburgh as a child. The restaurant initially served pizza, pizza bagels, falafel, onion rings, corn on the cob, and hummus. It later expanded its menu to include a sandwich menu, knishes, eggplant parmesan, vegetable soup, fried eggplant, and fried cauliflower, as well as catering options. Rabbi Kehos Weiss supervised the kosher status of the restaurant.  The Kosher Korner closed sometime after 1977.
