Congregation Ezras Tzadickem obtained a charter in January 1926 “to maintain a place of worship, a school of instruction and a communal center.” Charter members included A. Feldman, Fannie Goddy, I. Goddy, Dora Goodstein, Hyman Goodstein, David Hausman, S. Hausman, Isaac Horovitz, Anna Katz, R. Katz, Sam Katz, Esther Kramer, David Levenson, W. Lando, Isaac Laufe, Rose Lefshitz, Anna Linetsky, Frank Linetsky, Bella Morris, Samuel Morris, Leah Mullen, Philip Onickman, Ruth Rosen, Esther Rosenson, Louis Schwartz, Eshia Shapira, Louis Shelkrot, Louis Shussett, R. Several of these founders had been members of Shaaray Tefillah Congregation. George Stern later became president of Congregation Kehilleth Isaac/Beth Mogen David.
