Rauh Jewish Archives at the Heinz History Center
The Goldston family immigrated to the Pittsburgh area from Russia by way of England in the late 1800s. Eli Goldston (1850-1919) was the son of Raphael Goldston (1827-1913) and Libby Preis Goldston (1831-1932). With his wife Leah Rosa Rubinstein (b.1849), he had six children, Solomon, Reuben, Sampson, Joshua, Emily, and Clara.
Clara Goldston (1882-1958) was born in England and followed her family to Pittsburgh as a child. She married Louis Weinberg on January 8, 1903. They had three children, Arnold, Emily, and Mildred. Mildred Weinberg married Isadore B. Kreimer.
