Kaylor is an unincorporated community in Butler County.

Louis and Temma Horwitz immigrated to the United States from the Russian Empire in 1886. They initially settled in Cleveland but around 1899 relocated to Butler County, operating a store in Chicora, Pa. and later opening the Pittsburg General Store in Kaylor, Pa. They had eight children: William, Harry, Yetta, Jean, Rae, Anna, I. E., and Abe.
