During the first school year of the newly merged Uniontown Jewish Community Sunday School, someone brought a non-kosher chicken dish to a Chanukah party. The board of the religious school convened a meeting after the incident to review the food policy of the school. The matter highlighted the challenges involved in merging the religious schools of two congregations.
