Shortly before moving to the new building on Moody Avenue, Tifereth Israel began publishing a bulletin called The Scroll. This Chanukah issue was the fourth of the new publication. It includes an explanation of the holiday and an appeal to promote the Jewish holiday during the Christmas season to “counteract the tremendous publicity of the non-Jewish festival.”
