Rabbi Iwan Gruen passport

Rabbi Iwan Gruen was the Chief Rabbi of Danzig from 1928 until he emigrated with his family in 1939 under pressure from the Nazi Party. By 1935, his passport was stamped with a Nazi-mandated red J, for Jude (Jew).
