This version of the constitution of Beth Israel Congregation in Latrobe includes two important revisions to earlier versions. First, it reduces the age of membership to 18, down from 21. Second, it opens membership to any adult who is “a person of the Jewish faith” or anyone married to someone “of the Jewish faith,” which would allow partners in mixed-marriages to be members.
