The Hebrew Ladies Auxiliary Society of Bentleyville, Pa. evolved into a Mothers’ Club in 1921 to organize a religious school for approximately twenty Jewish children in the borough. The school was organized under the auspices of the Southwestern District of Pennsylvania Jewish Religious Schools program.
