“Looking Thru Grandma’s Eyes” play script. The play tells the story of the Tree of Life Sisterhoods’ founding at the kitchen table of Anna Goldstein. It also portrays major moments in the organization’s history, including their first bazaar in which they raised $1000; organization of the sewing circle; the Synagogue’s Golden Anniversary; the masquerade Purim Balls; Rabbi Hailperin’s tenure; installation of the kitchen in the Synagogue in Oakland; the Congregation’s 70th anniversary; and the $35,000 pledge to the new building in Squirrel Hill. Typescript, English, five pages.
