Pittsburgh Brewing Company Vice President F. W. Mueller wrote to Louis Aaron in August 1899 to discuss the state of the brewing industry in Pittsburgh. Aaron had sold his malt manufacturing business to the American Malting Company in August 1896 and became president of the Homer Laughlin China Company in December 1897.
