Homestead Hebrew Congregation was organized “for the purpose of diving worship according to Askeneizic of Prague Traditional Orthodox Judaism,” according to a 1934 version of the constitution and bylaws. The language dates to the original constitution and bylaws from 1902, which was printed almost entirely in Yiddish. The 1934 revision was the last time the congregation revised the document.
