After become a Reform congregation in the late 1950s, Ahavath Shalom Congregation often held its confirmation ceremonies at Rodef Shalom Congregation in Pittsburgh. In some years, the congregation held a joint ceremony with congregations in Punxsutawney and Tarentum.
