The earlier surviving records of Congregation B’nai Israel of Glassport, Pa., are these minutes from a meeting on August 14, 1907. By that point, the congregation already had a name and a small budget. The congregation officially chartered in 1914. The board composed its minutes in Yiddish until November 1935.
