As Congregation B’nai Israel of Glassport, Pa., was disbanding in the mid-1970s, a primary concern was arranging for long-term care of its cemetery. The congregation acquired 14 additional plots near its existing holdings and arranged a perpetual care agreement with Temple B’nai Israel of McKeesport for $5,120 in March 1977.
