A group of B’nai B’rith lodges north of Pittsburgh came together as the Northwest Pennsylvania Council as early as the late 1960s. The regularly shifting membership of the council included members from lodges in Bradford, Clarion, Clearfield, Du Bois, Erie, Farrell, Franklin, Meadville, Oil City, Sharon, Titusville and Warren, among other towns in the region.
