“300 Attend Dedication”

Rabbi Joseph Shapiro of Poale Zedeck Synagogue in Pittsburgh delivered the keynote address at the dedication of the Chevra Sholom synagogue in Jeannette. He spoke on the theme, “The Influence of the Synagogue in Jewish History Throughout the Ages.” The event drew guests from Guests attended from Ambridge, Braddock, Carnegie, Greensburg, Irwin, Pittsburgh, Mt. Pleasant and Uniontown, as well as from Ohio, West Virginia and New York.
